SUPERMAN

This part is fiction… Back ground music please!

“Ayos ‘to a! Tahimik. ‘Tis the kind of life I want to achieve.”

BACK TO REALITY. “Now, I remember.”

“Hoy! May ipapakiusap ako sa’yo. Ang pamangkin ko. She’s dying and her last wish is to hear you sing.”

2 DAYS AFTER THE CONCERT IN TAGAYTAY. HOSPITAL.

(SINGING)There are no words, to paint a picture of you girl. Your eyes and those curves, it's like you're from some other world. You walk my way, oh God it's so frustrating. Can I be your superman?

masscomm

In line with Colegio de Dagupan’s PVMO, the institution has proven once again that it is ready to take challenges from the outside world. Dated August 1, 2010, the institution has sent its students to AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City to attend the 5th Annual Conference of Journalism and Masscom Students of the Philippines pioneered by Comguild Center for Journalism, an award-giving body that recognizes the exemplary work of local broadcasters and news presenters deliberated by a reputable Board of Judges comprised of highly regarded educators, heads and the deans of different colleges and universities in the country.

EVOL<--ution of --> LOVE

Conflicting.

Like how the rays of the sun penetrate and dissipate these clouds of darkness; creating funny silhouettes of unexpected shadows out of us.

This has been the backdrop. Two lovebirds caged in uncertainty. They howled yet clasped with each other's promises. They never knew they'd be next. A day after yesterday, they exchanged struggles. "I can't live without you." -- the words that melted the atmosphere. Panic- inducing glands started to function. Drops and loads of salty and watery substance gushed down from their innocent souls. No can do. No can do. They have to be apart!

The arbiter has come to save the wounded heart - that hard kernel of gaiety that never breaks. He has not hesitated. Like a warrior who surpassed countless battles from the land of Armaggedon, he healed the rift between the lovebirds. Suddenly, every one's fate was changed and has merged to a different story - sweet yet...

Conflicting. Back to zero.

Once there was a human being who almost cursed the world for being inequitable and unfavorable -- the world that made him feel like the most desolate individual on Earth. He always looked for happiness but he could hardly find its dwelling because there was no light to guide him through his way. For many times, he tried to stand after every agonizing downfall though his body and soul were straining to do so. He always whimpered a pool of tears after realizing how stupid he was that he could not find the right path towards happiness. He desperately wanted to be happy because he had been prone to pain. His heart was even the most wanted home of melancholy and sorrow.

This used- to- be- pathetic being was never true to himself. He always pretended to be happy to elude the perilous world he had that time. He constantly put a feign beam on his face to manifest as if he was not crestfallen. When people asked him about the things that made him sad, he just kept in silence because he wanted nobody to know what his big dilemma was. In short, this person had a gloomy and earthbound world.

If truth be told, he had a lot of friends because he was affectionate. Many people liked him as a person who was fond of cracking jokes and making them laugh. It was not obvious that he was in so much pain because he was just an ordinary student who would get worried of his myriad assignments. He was happy with his academic achievements, though, he inevitably felt that there was emptiness in his spirit.

That was the life of the typical yet clandestinely unique individual. Days had gone by and months had passed. The life of this man remained dismal as he was struggling in the real world towards an effulgent and successful journey. Everyday, he would meet people who came, and in contrast, went out his way. This routine had been extant for some time. As it was continually transpiring, this man constantly wished for one thing that would fill the barrenness of his soul - LOVE.

They say Nile River and Egypt are soul mates. Without the former, there would have been no civilization in the latter. The man, considering himself as Egypt, desperately made a stab at looking for his Nile River to give light, life and color to his entity. He incessantly prayed to find the river that would complete him. And as they say, there is always a corresponding largess for an action done with passion and dedication, so the solitude of Egypt finally ended because he has found the Nile River that will give contentment and beatitude to his existence.

Now, the man is no longer weary. His humdrum life has turned to a jovial one. Gone are the moments that he would weep at night. Gone are the days that he would question God's unfairness.

He found his Nile River in the person of Venn Tyron CariƱo, the river that once flowed through him, the river that he drowned himself onto. This river had glanced at him before and now, he would make sure that they'd be for forever.

This man, living by the name of John Louie dela Vega, now considers himself as the happiest person alive because after the detrimental years of drowning in a sea of sadness, he is now bathing in an ocean of happiness. And it's all because he found his Nile River. Sans it, he would surely succumb
because it is the river that gives water to his body and soul. And that water is LOVE.

Maybe? It's a coincidence.

I am mortified that I have allowed the time to slip by without updating my KendingHubad.I could blame it on having such a busy life.

Well, let's just pretend that I am on week 10 and move onward from there.

For some reason this picture speaks hope to me. The sunlight beaming through the trees convinces me that there is something more to life than what I have lost.

Do you ever find in life these little winks, feel these little kisses and find that hope for a brief second until life's worries whisk you away? Next time you see or feel one of these moments for yourself ,try to hold it in your heart a little bit longer, though the fast pace and distractions are always there to be in reminder.

LIZARD

little miracle
with clingy little fingers
sitting on my hand

slight changes of hue
when you skitter on the wall
delicate beauty

how you honor me
by sitting on my digit
thank you for the pic

Kismet

I am tired.
But I really do not want to give up my project 52.
I am so very behind.
I want to give up because I am so behind.
But I can not.
And I will not.

I took this picture while I was in the Lingayen. I hastily snapped it from an inside of a vehicle. I can not tell you how many super cute elderly people that I saw but was never fortunate enough to capture a picture of. Here though, I was able to and I share it with you
because despite the fact that I do not know this sweet, beautiful rumplemuffin, I love her all the same.

Notice her mismatched little outfit, notice her terribly cute hat, notice her worn out shoes. She has not given up... why should I?

Abangan niyo "Ang Pananabik 2".
